Can we bring our kids?As much as we love your little ones, we’ve decided to make our wedding an adults-only celebration. We want to create a relaxed and elegant atmosphere where all our guests can fully enjoy the weekend. We hope you understand, and we truly appreciate you making arrangements to celebrate with us!

Should we bring any wedding presents (gifts)?Your presence is present enough for us 😉 If anyway, you still feel you would like to gift us something, we will be sharing here soon an account number in case you would like to contribute to our Honeymoon fund.

Why does the invite say 30,31 of May?As everyone will be travelling for the wedding, we are staying around on Sunday, May 31st to spend the day with those that would like to stay at the beach and the hotel's Beach Club. Please let us know if the RSVP if you are planning to stay so we can plan accordingly with the hotel.

When is the actual wedding?The wedding ceremony will take place on May 30th 2026. The ceremony will start at 18:00, we ask you to please be there latest by 17:15 so we can start punctually at 18:00. There will be a bus arranged from Santa Marta Hotel and back. More details on time coming soon The reception will take place in Santa Marta Hotel starting at 19:30.

When should we arrive?It is up to you, you can either arrive on the 30th as you will be able to check in the hotel before the wedding or the day before.

What is the closest airport?Even though Girona has an airport, it is very small and almost no flights fly there, therefore we recommend flying to Barcelona.

How do I get from Barcelona to Blanes and the Hotel Santa Marta?The best way would be to have a car (either come by car or rent it in Barcelona). This way you also have flexibility to move around.

How do I get to Blanes or Santa Marta Hotel without a car?The easiest way is from Barcelona with a bus. You can find more information here

Will there be buses arranged?No. There will only be a bus to take you from Santa Marta Hotel to the Jardin Botanico and back on the day of the wedding (15 min drive).

When is the pre-wedding?If you were invited to the Pre-Wedding, you will have received the invitation and the password for the Pre-Wedding Page, there you can find all info regarding the pre-wedding.

What is a pre-wedding?The pre-wedding is a small celebration we want to have with our closest family and our "I do" crew. It will be the day before the wedding. For more info you can see this on the Pre-wedding page.

What is the dress code for the pre-wedding?It will be a White Party (or kaki). See more info on the Dress Code here

What time will the Pre-Wedding start?We do not know yet, we will update this when we are closer to the wedding, but it will be a Spanish dinner starting earliest at 20:30.

What is the dress code for the wedding?The dress code is Beach Formal, and we would like to keep the color palette within the colors described in the Dress Code page. You will also find there a link to some inspiration.

Where will the wedding take place?We have two locations secured for the wedding: The ceremony will take place in el Jardin Botanico de Blanes. The reception, dinner and party will take place in Hotel Santa Marta in Lloret the Mar.

Will there be dietary arrangements if I have a dietary restriction?Please make sure to indicate any dietary restrictions in the RSVP so we can let the hotel know. The food will be a mix of Swiss and Spanish cuisine.

Is the post-wedding part of the celebration?The post-wedding is 100% voluntary as we are aware that lands on a Sunday and most of you will need to drive/fly back that day. For those who would like to stay, we will have the included breakfast in the hotel the day after the wedding and then spend a relaxed day at the beach. To wrap up the weekend, we’ll be around as well for a casual dinner at the hotel for anyone who’d like to join us. This will be a relaxed way to spend one last evening together! Please note that this dinner is not hosted, so guests will cover their own meals. We’d love to have you there if you’d like to join!
